Matt and Cat White are currently the Senior Pastors at LifePointe Church in Mattoon Illinois. Matt was born and raised in Mattoon and after graduating from High School had an encounter with the Lord that forever changed his life. Feeling the call of God upon His life he moved away to work with a variety of Ministries all over the United States. After Graduating from Rhema Bible College Matt moved back to Illinois to take the position as the Youth Pastor of LifePointe Church. After working with the youth for 8 years he meet his wife Cat while attending Summer Scream youth camp in Rushville Illinois. On November 2, 2019 Matt and Cat were married and have been working together in the ministry ever sense.
They both have a heart to reach the families in this community. "We want to reach the whole family. Mom, Dad, Grandparents, Youth the whole family" Matt stated. My wife and I love people and we love God. We have seen and experienced His Love, Word have encountered Him in a real personal way that we want to share with others. We believe that Mattoon is where God has called us and we are determined to see this community and surrounding areas reached with the Gospel". Currently LifePointe Church meets on Sundays at 10:00am and Wednesday at 7:00pm. Childcare is provided for both services.
